Sent emails out to numerous dealerships for the exact year, model, color and trim my wife wanted. Joel was the only sales person to understand our wants for a new car. He brokered a pipeline trade, provided me an out the door price & kept us up to date on all information and delivery date. He was very informative and engaging. The entire experience was very enjoyable from the interactions with Joel to the financing with Trevor. Never felt pressured in anyway. The vehicle also has been given the stamp of approval by my father in law. I have already made recommendations to friends that are interested in a Subaru to talk with Joel.

Shopping at Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru was a great experience. Zach was so easy to shop vehicle's with, easy going and pressure-free. Zach asked questions of what I was looking for in a vehicle and answered all of my questions (even multiple times) and really helped find the vehicle for me. A thoroughly enjoyable car purchasing experience from sales down to the insurance and finance side. I highly recommend this dealership and in fact I have and a good friend of mine is also buying a new car at the same dealership. I would not recommend a dealership to a friend if I didn’t feel like I had a great experience. I had a great experience with Joel! My husband and I had been looking for a car for quite some time, but nothing was working out. We finally found the car we were looking for at this place, but with travel time we couldn’t get there till 5:30 (they close at 6). Joel and his team stayed late for us. They never rushed us when we were test driving a car, signing paperwork, and asking questions. Joel answered all of our questions thoroughly and was extremely kind. I can tell Joel worked really hard to find a great deal for us. It truly felt like he cared about us rather than just making a sale. My husband and I are in love with our Subaru and are blown away with all the features it has. This is our first time buying a Subaru and I can’t imagine buying anything else other than a Subaru or buying from anyone else other than Joel! Highly recommend 😊

Came in pretty late. We already had a pretty good idea of what we wanted but Joel did a good job of not beating around the bush with pricing and giving us a decent deal after realizing an unrelated mistake on their end.

Short version of a long story: On the Thursday before July 4th Friday weekend, we were traveling home to Portland and had a problem (disabled and towed) with our 24 Legacy. Jason in the service department stayed late (after closing time) and he and Matt from Sales sorted out the problem, fixed it and sent us on our way. What was looking to be a very long and expensive stay in Burlington turned into an exceptional customer service experience. Subaru for life now. And big, big thanks to Jason and Matt. Restored our faith that there are good hearted people out there making the right choices. Kudos and thank you to Skagit Subaru.

Zach was a pleasure to deal with, I walked in with a car I wanted and a price I felt was fair and they made it happen for us! Everyone from Zach (sales) to financing was amazing. They were short handed today but made it work for us and I am so appreciative! We had driven 14 vehicles to find “the one” and were exhausted, frustrated, and sick of being stuck in endless pointless negotiations- Zach made it painless and enjoyable. We love our new Suburu! Jason and Hayley did a great job getting my Outback right in for an oil change. Great friendly professional service! I've purchased four Outback's from Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru.

I would completely avoid working with the service department. They dont follow ASE procedures and start tearing into a car without getting permission to do so. And they dont know how to follow requests by a customer. As well as, apparently dont give refunds for their incomplete work.

We previously had underwhelming experiences with this service department but decided to give them another chance. While scheduling was easy, the in-person experience and the quality of their "multi-point safety inspection" were disappointing. ​When my wife arrived for the appointment, two consultants were busy while a third stood by and made her wait for the others rather than assisting. During the check-in process, we were informed that a safety inspection—including the brakes—would be performed as part of the service. ​At pickup, my wife asked about the brakes specifically because the vehicle had been experiencing a strange vibration. The consultant informed her that they only checked the pad depth and nothing else because a lube technician, not a mechanic, had performed the inspection. They suggested we schedule a separate, future appointment to actually diagnose the issue. ​The following day, we took the vehicle to Dewey Griffin Subaru in Bellingham. Their team identified the problem immediately: mostly because there was an active recall on the front brakes and rotors. ​It is concerning that a "safety inspection" at this dealership failed to identify an active manufacturer recall for the very components being inspected. The level of service and technical due diligence at Dewey Griffin was significantly higher. Despite the extra hour of driving, we will be taking our business there from now on.

Went to get an oil change in the morning. Guy at the desk was nice but said that I had to make an appt for an oil change because they are short-staffed, they have no front desk. They advertise same day oil changes.

UPDATE: Subaru of America recognized the mistake made by Dwayne Lane’s Skagit and paid another dealer in California to fix our air conditioner. They saved us $3,500 in costs. Thank you, Subaru of America, for rectifying the mistake. I brought my car to Dwayne Lane's Skagit Subaru for recall work related to an engine oil leak. When I dropped it off, the air conditioning was working perfectly. When I picked it up, the A/C was completely nonfunctional. I raised the issue immediately, and although they admitted to removing and reinstalling the compressor during the repair, they claimed it wasn’t their fault. Now I'm being told it will cost $3,500 to fix because metal was found in the system, supposedly ruining the compressor. But the A/C was working flawlessly before the service—and Broken when I got the car back. They refuse to take any responsibility for the damage. I’m extremely disappointed in both the service and the complete lack of accountability. I expected better from a Subaru dealership. Subaru of America has been no help either—completely useless. I will never buy another Subaru, and I’ll certainly never return to this location.

Please be aware that this facility does not do work on fleet vehicles. I called in for an appointment specifically stating that I would like to get my fleet vehicle serviced. Booking the appointment went fine however once I showed up to drop off my car they informed me they no longer do work on fleet vehicles taking valuable time out of my day.

service writer hayley was very rude and not upfront about cost. was quoted $3.5k+ for an expected $1000 service. they had already started the service before confirming cost with me. thankfully they put my car back together. i have worked customer service. i know that 99% of the time the customer is not correct and i am not discounting their abilities and knowledge on my car. but execution of the sale was so awful. being rude and unclear about a $3k transaction is much different than being pissy about a $3 transaction.
